01 April, 2024
Welcome to our monthly studio newsletter. The first of every month we will be sending out studio updates, work updates, and other fun tidbits.
It is officially spring and the studio is in full bloom! This season of creation and renewal is giving our work new life. Even better, check out this squirrel feeder in our outdoor studio.
Not sure about you all but my household rarely escapes April Fool's Day! Seems that historians cannot agree as to the origin of the tradition, but it does seem to span centuries and cultures. It could be in the 1500s when France went from the Julian Calendar to the Gregorian Calendar, or some speculate it dates back to Hilaria in Ancient Rome, while others point to 1700 Scotland. For a little more about April Fools' here is a link to The History Channel.
This Month
If you missed our installation for Women Celebrating Women last month at El Barrio Artspace, don’t worry! The piece is still up and able to be viewed in the downstairs gallery.

Spring always brings to mind this piece entitled Magnolia Tree from our Tiny Things collection. See the piece with the actual magnolia tree that inspired it.
